Story
Seiya and her six companions, seven in all, wander as if led by someone into a mysterious mansion. In this mysterious mansion -- the Mansion of Fetters -- they encounter all sorts of events. Attacked one after another, their comrades are wounded... Sayaka is violated by mysterious masked men, and Jun, driven into a psychological corner, ends up killing Seiya. Just what is hidden in this mansion?! And what is the relationship between Seiya and Maya...?!
Our take
A suspense-flavored hentai anime set inside a sealed Western-style mansion, released by Discovery as the closing half of the two-part Kurohime OVA. The package frames it as suspense with eros added.
The art is early-2000s cel work: thick outlines, flat fills and heavy indigo shadows. The cover girl hugs her knees in a white camisole and black over-knee socks against a pink drape and a marble wall, and that bright framing sits far from the dim, lamp-starved corridors shown inside.
The back cover promises a shocking finish, so the draw here is atmosphere and mansion design rather than plot. Look at the sample stills for the color scheme.
