Story
The kingdom of Parthia, rich in nature and surrounded by forests and springs. In its provincial city of Acres lived the young man Lesage, spending peaceful days together with his sickly younger sister Mies. But an encounter with a girl named Pucelle who came from the royal capital began to change their everyday life, and it steadily affected both Lesage and Mies. Yet before he could even feel that influence, Lesage was suddenly confronted with the reality of Mies's death. Unable to bear the sense of loss at having a precious existence taken from him without any warning, he reaches out to forbidden dark arts. "Resurrecting the dead through a contract with a demon." But the summoning ends in failure, and what appears is the she-demon Neifa.
Our take
A dark fantasy hentai anime built on grief and a forbidden summoning, set in the invented kingdom of Parthia. The back cover prints the premise in red: raising the dead by pact with a demon. The rite fails, and Neifa answers instead.
Visually it is mid-2000s cel work in 4:3. The front lays black over deep crimson, then runs a magic circle and thorned vines across it in hot pink line art, silver hair and gold eyes at the centre. Outlines are heavy, shadows fall in flat planes.
