Story
Koyuki had resolved to enter the world of dark rhythmic gymnastics, but her special training remained at a standstill. So Fubuki begins special training inside a bus. The two press their bodies together in the crowded bus. And Koyuki, though embarrassed, ends up feeling it. Around then, Fubuki, who was cleaning the principal's office, discovers a photo of Tomomi. In it was Tomomi's hidden past...
Our take
Shintaisou Shin is a rhythmic gymnastics OVA built on a fictional underground version of the sport, and etude.2 carries the training arc forward.
The cover gives an orange-haired gymnast in a purple and white competition leotard, blue ribbons tied in her hair, one long leg stretched along a gym bench as she holds the ribbon apparatus. Wood floors and pale walls keep a soft mid-2000s palette, while the back grid adds locker rooms and practice halls.
Koyuki and Fubuki carry the story as a hidden past surfaces, and the appeal sits in leotard fetish framing and flexible, athletic figure drawing. The sample stills show the expression work.
