Story
The time is the 19th century, the era of the Industrial Revolution when the British Empire shone brightest. One day, Foster meets Aisha, who is engrossed in a card game against men at a tavern he wandered into. Aisha is drawn to Foster, who has an air different from the other customers, and Foster too takes an interest in her. After spending a night together, when Foster tries to return to his estate, Aisha follows him and comes to set foot in the mansion where he lives.
Our take
Victorian Britain in the industrial revolution is the stage for this classic hentai anime, the third chapter of the Kara no Naka no Kotori series, built around Aisha Farfalis. She enters reading a card table full of men, then walks into a manor where that nerve has nowhere to go.
The art is pure cel work: thick even outlines, shading cut into two flat tones, blonde hair running from yellow to a hard white highlight. Blue and gold dominate, and the white headdress keeps the maid and aristocracy framing cool rather than warm.
The cover asks for one more round, and that gambling tension sets the tone. The samples carry that texture.
