Story
The training of captain Mirte and Sakuya continued still... Amid it, Sakuya gradually opens her heart and accepts the captain. Mirte tries to accept it too, but for some reason the captain rejects her. And so she ends up made to service the training octopus instead... Furthermore, a savage ordeal on the triangular wooden horse awaited the two. In the end, where will Mirte and Sakuya finally arrive — heaven, or hell!?
Our take
The second chapter of Blood Royal, a gothic court fantasy, takes Milte as its title character. The English logo sits over the cover art, with a white heraldic crest laid faintly behind it.
The colour design commits to one hue. A wine-red corset gown, white frills and a red gem at the throat lift out of a deep crimson field, while blonde hair is separated into tonal planes for volume. Hard-edged early-2000s cel shadows suit the coldness of the court.
The series divides itself by princess and this one is the second act, sharing its world-building across chapters. Check the sample stills for the costume and background work.
