A year since the annihilation of Chaos Arena... To investigate the whereabouts of the three Taimanin who went missing, Asagi and Sakura attempt to infiltrate an organization operating in the shadows on 'Tokyo Kingdom City', an artificial island floating on Tokyo Bay. What awaits Asagi and the others is Saya, clad in Taimanin ninja garb. And Saya, transformed into a monster-like figure as the awakened form of a Taimanin's true power, assaults them with overwhelming force...
Our take
Taimanin Asagi 2 packs two chapters into one release, dark fantasy kunoichi action from ZIZ. The cover stacks Asagi in her purple bodysuit, a pink haired demon woman and a blonde kunoichi over a neon lit artificial island at night.
The color design is heavy. Towers sit in violet, character shadows sink into indigo, and only the eye highlights stay bright. The demon side uses fangs and slit pupils for the inhuman read, while the ninja suits get a high gloss finish.
Based on the PC game by Lilith and directed by Raikaken. Two numbered chapters run back to back, so check the samples for the palette and line quality.
