Story

Our take
Soshite Watashi wa Sensei ni puts a school desk at the center of its key art, turning an ordinary classroom into the main stage. The gyaru-styled lead has blonde hair in a side ponytail, violet eyes, a pale blue shirt and white loose socks.
The jacket is lit at a high key, window light washing out the wood grain of the desk and the walls behind her. Sample stills reverse that, dropping the same character into a darkened audiovisual room full of green and violet shadow. Two lighting schemes, two moods.
The subtitle points at one very specific fixation, and the piece is built around it. The expression work comes through in the samples.
