Story
Having lost her husband in an accident, Yayoi works as a nurse and looks after her younger brother-in-law, Hiro. Five happy years spent like real siblings despite being in-laws. One night, out of the blue, her brother-in-law confesses his single-minded love for her, and she yields her body to him for a one-night relationship. And so begins a sweet, dangerous life...
Our take
ZIZ adapted this OVA from Tsukino Jougi's manga, with the romanized title Boku no Yayoi-san across the package. Yayoi is an older woman working as a nurse, and the story never leaves a very small domestic circle.
Magenta and pink dominate, with near-black shadows cutting into the figures. Red lingerie, black thigh-highs and drawn bedding creases fill the cover, while pink bands cross the layout like film strips.
Wooden hallways and tatami rooms recur instead of scene changes, and pauses do the pacing. Check the samples for how much of the original line survives.
