Story
'Tokyo Kingdom,' an abandoned island floating in Tokyo Bay. Asagi infiltrates in pursuit of one who has fled there siding with the demons, only to find that the 'deserter anti-demon ninja' Asuka—who had run off after suffering grave wounds losing her limbs in battle—has already dealt with the target! From the reunion with Asuka, the fierce battle of Asagi and the anti-demon ninja is about to begin...! Do they submit to the evil of the human-demon fiends and meet a horrific end with no means to resist!? Sakura and Murasaki appear as Oboro's pawns!!! What fate awaits Asagi, robbed of what she must protect!?
Our take
Part two of Taimanin Asagi 3, set on an abandoned island in Tokyo Bay. The package prints its credits in English: based on the PC game by Lilith, directed by Shinpei Kasama, presented by ZIZ, animation by Studio Eromatica.
Purple and crimson dominate the frame. A blue-haired kunoichi in fishnets and a second, orange-haired ninja stand out against dark red, while a red-eyed monstrous face fills the lower half and tentacle work is drawn in dense, vine-like layers no live-action title could stage.
The series is split by volume, so the demon-hunter setup reads from the art alone. Check the samples for the density of the animation.
