Story
Rinka is masturbating in the morgue, burning incense. Remembering the past, Rinka ends in incomplete combustion. Dragging along her body that could only reach an incomplete finish, Rinka wanders the hospital, and before her walks Sarina, her face flushed red. Back in the morgue, Rinka recalls the scene she saw yesterday, and her hand ends up reaching for her crotch. There, Tatsuki suddenly comes in, his crotch bulging. Rinka gulps down her throat...
Our take
A 2006 entry in the Vanilla Series, this is the second half of a hospital-set nurse OVA. The sleeve credits Spiel and LiLiM Nama with the original work, Kentaro Shigeta with direction, Yako Morimura with character design.
The visuals are period cel work: thick outlines, near two-tone shading. Pink nurse uniforms, white walls and the blue-green glow of x-ray panels build the ward, and the palette drops to heavy grey for the morgue and night corridors. Rinka with long black hair and Sarina with blonde twin tails read apart at a glance.
It picks up from the first half. For viewers who like mid-2000s OVA linework, the samples are the fastest test.
