Story
Mie, who by chance obtained the power to become invisible, played all sorts of pranks. But in the end he got found out and had a terrible time of it. That should have settled the whole matter, but... 'Haven't you learned your lesson yet! You filthy pervert!!' Once you worship the angel, no, the goddess, even once, you won't be able to stop!!
Our take
An invisibility gimmick played for comedy drives this Vanilla Series OVA, the front half of a two-part story. The cover line jokes that one look at an angel is enough to hook you, and the tone stays there.
The art is bright and pastel, thin even lines and almost no shadow work. Daylight streets, a bus interior, a cafe front and a pink restroom stall keep the settings ordinary, which is the point when the viewpoint character is unseen. Red blush lines and cartoon sweat put humor ahead of tension, and the back cover reads like a comic strip.
