Story

Perhaps because he'd witnessed his family fall apart, Takeshi felt that Fujino's attachment to family (who would think of her first and foremost) was too strong, and he felt he understood a little the Fujino who had 'thrown away being a man and treated her like garbage.' When Takeshi comes home in the morning and fearfully opens the front door, there is Shinobu, who had grown tired of waiting for Takeshi and fallen asleep at the entrance. When she notices Takeshi, she clings to him and complains at length about how worried she'd been. Feeling guilty toward such a Shinobu, Takeshi reaffirms what his top priority is. Fujino doesn't want to face Shino even though she's come home. While meeting Shinobu in town, Fujino is stabbed by her ex-boyfriend and falls into critical condition, unconscious. It was triggered by her having punched a man in the middle of the street. Shino shows up at the hospital but shows no sign of worrying about her own daughter Fujino. Takeshi gets angry and presses Shino for answers. The unruffled Shino pins Takeshi down onto an empty bed and kisses him. As if crazed with jealousy, 'You slept with Fujino, didn't you?' And then, holding a narcotic in her mouth, she makes Takeshi swallow it, and forcibly...
