Story
An utterly ordinary man, Gen'yo, and an utterly ordinary woman, Anastasia, fell in love in an utterly ordinary way and got married in an utterly ordinary way. However, there was one thing that wasn't ordinary. "Mm, why? I'm doing it with my mouth like this for you." "Because, that's... it's necessary for you to maintain your magic power... and besides, right at the front door the moment I get home is too much..." "But it can't be helped. I used a lot of magic today." That's right. The wife was a witch.
Our take
A fantasy comedy about married life with a witch wife, this first half drops one magic rule into an otherwise ordinary domestic setup.
The cover shows the heroine riding a broom side-saddle against a blue sky, in pale green short twintails, a red ribbon, a black pointed hat, fishnets and red boots. Colors are separated by hue rather than by shading, in the bright 2006 cel style, and the samples give each scene one dominant color: blue magic light, dappled outdoor green, a yellow bedroom.
It is the front half of a Vanilla Series two-parter. The samples show how bright the palette stays and how softly the faces are drawn.
