Story
To lead Ms. Batsuya into the world of dreams, Anastasia used powerful magic and ended up breaking the barrier that concealed her own existence. And Anya, Anastasia's mother, having learned Anastasia's whereabouts, gives Anastasia's husband Gen'yo no chance to speak and relentlessly torments him. This is the true witch's parent-and-child threesome (oyakodon). And so the story of how Anastasia and Gen'yo met is revealed...
Our take
Witch fantasy drives the second half of Okusama wa Mahoutsukai, a Vanilla Series release that opens when a concealing ward finally gives way. The front panel carries the red VANILLA SERIES band above a sunset sky.
The art favors thick, clearly drawn outlines and strong key colors: green hair against crimson eyes, warm orange on the front, cool violet cave shadows on the back. Backgrounds keep their palettes narrow, so highlights on faces do most of the emotional work.
As the closing half, it also fills in how the couple first met. If cel-era hentai anime coloring and a witch-lineage setting appeal, the sample images show the linework best.
