Story
Tsubaki, returned from a warrior's training journey, had grown not only in swordsmanship but in the art of war overall. Kein feels relieved, thinking this will give him the advantage in his fight against Francis. Tsubaki has the thought that if Kein loses in the bridegroom selection, she might be able to marry him herself... but above all she wishes only to devote herself for her lord. Rather than becoming king, Kein earnestly worries about the people of his domain. He even tells the dwarf chieftain, "Because of my own shortcomings, I've made you all feel wretched, and I'm sorry." Seeing him like this, the man-hating Ciffone's heart is moved, and she is thrown into confusion. Meanwhile, Charlotte, having returned to the castle, had grown into a beautiful and wonderful lady. Even upon hearing that, with Francis's expanding power, Kein was hanging by a thread, she declares, "As agreed, I will marry the one who leaves the finest achievements as lord!" Yet inwardly she was worried sick about Kein. And the king, who sees through all of this... Does the cornered Kein have a secret plan...? The series finally reaches its conclusion!

The look is pure 2001 cel animation: thick black outlines, two-tone flat shading, saturated primaries, blue hair set against a yellow ribbon. The cover prints character lines instead of a tagline, and the back panel lays out magic light and castle interiors in small stills.
