Story
The sister, Rabian, drives off the forest's monsters and presses onward. Though her heart is disturbed by nightmares of unknown cause, she steels herself with the mission held in her breast and somehow scrapes together her willpower. 'Yes. My heart is with the Lord.' Grotesque villagers wander the village she reaches. Whether this is reality or a dream grows increasingly vague. It steadily eats away at her heart. It's a world where body-melting pleasure and being torn apart in agony continue infinitely.
Our take
SiNiSistar continues as a dark fantasy seen entirely through one nun. The cover says it first: a hulking silhouette with a glowing red eye sinks into the black while pale light falls only on her.
The palette is black and deep crimson, with wet highlights doing the shading. Her white wimple and small cross are the brightest points, pulling the eye to her face. Thin, soft outlines and curling shapes at the edges make the quiet frames feel heaviest.
This second episode, subtitled Haha to Ko, moves from forest to village as the line between nightmare and waking blurs. Check the samples for the low-light detail.
