Story
A single girl, Aya Hyuga, who works cheerfully at a cosplay cafe despite carrying a huge debt. To Aya, who harbors unfulfilled feelings day after day, an email arrives... 'Come to the cosplay plaza still dressed in your cosplay cafe part-time outfit. I'll give you as much money as you want. Note: You must absolutely obey the men's demands.' It's surely just a prank. Even as she thinks so, Aya's body begins to grow hot. And Aya heads to the cosplay plaza... she is photographed, and Aya awakens to the joy of exposure.
Our take
A WHITE BEAR OVA built on cosplay and public exposure, adapted from the Pin-Point PC game with illustrator Misakura Nankotsu credited on the jacket for the source art and for supervision.
Aya wears a pale blue and white maid-style cafe uniform with a blue necktie and white thigh-highs, silver-grey hair down to her waist. The huge eyes and rounded proportions of the source illustrations survive the transfer, set against cobbled alleys and hard outdoor light.
Shutter sounds and watching eyes drive the staging of this first day, with further entries to follow. A few sample frames are enough to judge how faithful the adaptation looks.
