Story
Full of heart-fluttering and love, a bittersweet, quintessential school-days youth romance. Along the tree-lined path to the school building, the students head to class. Akihito Hayasaka is set to attend the prestigious, storied young-ladies' school "St. Francesca Academy," which went co-ed this spring. But his class is nothing but girls!! It's practically a harem situation!? Overwhelmed by the sheer density of females, Akihito nonetheless gets used to his new life, and the kendo he's taken up again after a long while braces him fiercely, body and spirit. Then, around mid-spring, an incident suddenly occurs...
Our take
A schoolgirl harem anime that states its premise on the package: a classic school romance with a boy-to-girl ratio of 40 to 1, set at a formerly all-girls academy just gone coeducational.
Character recognition runs on color. Hair is split across pink, blonde, black, green and violet, and the cover lays the full cast out in one group shot. Outlines are thick and eye highlights large, in the cel style of its period. Each sample scene commits to one dominant color: sunset orange, school swimsuit navy, classroom blue.
