Our take
A Vanilla Series school comedy that runs on a single gimmick: a pill that makes its user invisible. The front cover prints the lead's own line in large type, so the light tone lands before the disc does.
The look is mid-2000s cel animation, thin even linework over bright yellow and pastel backgrounds. The invisible lead is staged as a hand entering frame, with lifted cloth marking where he stands. The cover heroine stands in a night park in a yellow scarf and polka-dot underwear, her surprise pushed into comic deformation.
This is the second half of a two-part story, ending as the gimmick finds another use. Check the samples for the tone.
