Autumn. Jun and Mina often quarreled, but there seemed to be something drawing them to each other, and they naturally end up having relations at her house. (Play in a waitress uniform, in the situation of helping out at her mother's shop.) This was, for Jun, the first relationship in his life in which he could feel satisfaction. Jun realizes Mina is a special existence to him. Rena, who had loved Jun, learns of this fact and admonishes him, then accepts the love of Ryotaro, who had long been kind to her, and they are joined. Jun and Mina spend happy days. One day, the talk turns to their childhood, and the two look at an old album. There are photos of Jun and the three sisters from their younger years. In photos after the Shinbashi couple's divorce, there are few of Mina. In a household of just father and one child, he probably had no time to spare for taking pictures. But compared to the photos' dates, isn't Mina's growth far too fast...?
Our take
The wardrobe changes with the seasons, and that one choice makes this second half of the Sukidayo two parter easy to follow. It is a Vanilla Series title from 2002.
The front shows a heroine with scarlet hair in a yellow striped bikini under a beach shower, sailboats behind her. Falling water is drawn as vertical strokes, and the hair reads hard against the blue. The back panel lines her up in a school uniform on a park bench, a red and white Santa outfit, and restaurant work clothes. Shadows are flat, highlights large.
