Story
Having beaten Victoria and increased his number of Sex Swords, Yukito next fights Marguerite. Terrified by the way Yukito fights, she flees. He chases after her — but that was all part of her plan. The battle moves from the lunar world to the school gymnasium. There, the moment an experiment ran out of control, time had frozen, leaving the students in the middle of P.E. class frozen like ice. Fleeing as she snaps a photo of Yukito along the way, Marguerite starts stroking her Sex Sword. At once Yukito recoils, hips buckling, and groans. Her Sex Sword has the power to make her opponent climax by remote control when she strokes it aside — a weapon fitting for someone as petite as she is. After caressing him, Marguerite attacks with her mouth. To Yukito it feels exactly as if she's really doing it to him. But since Marguerite doesn't quite do it for him, he selfishly conjures up an image of his beloved Hiromi doing it instead. Even with the fate of the universe on the line, the unserious Yukito imagines all sorts of different acts. Caught up in his opponent's pace, Yukito is in a desperate, hopeless spot.
Our take
A fantasy battle comedy where the fate of the universe rests on absurd terms, this is the second half of Hooligan in the Vanilla series. The cover line jokes that cosmic destiny hangs on something this indecent.
The animation is early-2000s cel work: heavy outlines, primary colors, a yellow blazer and red skirt uniform dominating the palette, a masked hero suit for the rival, and comic-style speed lines dropped into the action. The sleeve credits Front Wing.
The stage moves from a lunar world to a school gym where time has frozen mid-class, students standing still while the duel goes on. Check the samples for the texture of that era.
