Story
In the park in the early afternoon, Naoto and Rika are busy doing exhibitionist play again today. When the play ends, they summon the neglected Labriel, transform Rika, and show off Jibril's new techniques 'Angelic Clone' and 'Angel Dynamite.' Tired out by Naoto's demands, Rika and Labriel head home ahead of him. As Naoto tries to go home alone, he meets Reina, a waitress at the restaurant 'Gekokujo,' and ends up inviting her into his home. Meanwhile, in the Aku space, Meimi is being punished by Asmo. Realizing a scheme to lewdly torment Rika before she transforms, Asmo transforms Meimi into Misty May and sends her out.
Our take
Transformation heroine fantasy meets tentacle horror in the third volume of Makai Tenshi Jibril, adapted from the Front Wing original. An afternoon park opens it, and the pull between angel and demon runs under everything after.
The cover shows dark-haired Jibril in a maid outfit with a tentacle curling around her thigh, cheek flushed and tongue just visible against a burning red field. Sailor-uniform heroines line the reverse.
Park, restaurant and open night sky rotate as backdrops, alternating transformation set pieces with quieter afterglow. The mid-2000s cel artwork has a period charm. Let the samples show you Jibril first.
