Story
Ripple, princess of the Toridrum kingdom, and her stepbrother Monte were pursuing Goto, who had stolen the Mysti-Coin, the source of magic. But the coin, together with Goto, slipped through the boundary plane and fell into the human world, its whereabouts lost. Ripple takes the name "Moe" and Monte takes the name "Bunta," and they chase Goto and the coin into the human world. A week later, learning that Moe's friend Hibari possesses the coin, Goto ravishes her. He also manipulates Bunta to ravish Hibari. Furthermore, he lures out Moe and ravishes her too, and the coin falls into Goto's hands. Moe had fallen to the depths of lust, but mustering the last of her strength she repels Goto. She safely reclaims the coin.
Our take
Magical Moe Vol. 1 is a magical girl fantasy hentai anime. The cover copy announces a princess in danger and the curtain rising on an erotic fantasy, and the hook is a chase after the Mystic Coin, the source of magic, into the human world.
The art is hand-drawn cel work from the 2000s: a pink field, long indigo hair and red eyes on the cover, a frilled pink magical costume, a gold coin and dark green tendrils climbing from the bottom edge, so charm and unease share one image.
The volume number points to a continuing series. Look through the samples for the period cel palette and the character designs.
