Summer vacation begins, and Naoto Kamino confesses the love he'd held since childhood and starts dating Rika Manabe. Then suddenly a boy named Asmo, calling himself a 'demon,' appears and tries to carry Rika off. Naoto desperately tries to protect Rika, but he's utterly powerless against the demon's strength. At the critical moment, a girl calling herself an 'angel,' Lovriel, appears and rescues them. The two take the wounded angel Lovriel, hurt in the battle with the 'demon,' back home, where she informs them of a shocking truth. That the angels of the heavenly realm and the demons of the demon realm have been waging a long-running war, and that the demon who got away might attack again... The wounded Lovriel has lost her power, so she pleads with Rika to fight in her place, transforming Rika into 'Holy Angel Gabriel' and having her fight.
