Story
The matrilineal Azuma family, brought low by Sui's scheming, still tries to carry themselves nobly and with fortitude, but eventually their spirits are cornered. And at a support-association party attended by luminaries of the political and business worlds and wealthy people, the academy principal Haruka is made to present her exposed body. Chisa—the head of the family and also chairman of the academy, and the one Haruka had single-mindedly hoped for—is likewise entrapped by the true mastermind. On the verge of collapse, the Azuma family offer up their bodies to the men and fall into being cum-dumpsters.
Our take
A girls academy founded by an old family sets the stage for the back half of this second series entry. Rank shows up as costume, with uniforms, maid dresses and formal gowns sharing the frame.
Lighting holds to purple and magenta throughout, with blue pushed into the shadows so the interiors read as one continuous night. Drill curls, long black hair and blonde keep the designs legible at distance, and the amount of highlight left in each eye varies by character, turning light into a marker of standing. The line work is thin and tidy.
