Our take
DISCIPLINE is known abroad for character art that leans Western rather than standard anime, and Zero is the original story set before the main series. This is its second half.
The cover seats two leads on a clawfoot chair: a blonde with a white ribbon and a blue-haired girl in striped underwear and deep purple thigh-high boots, both gazing down with unhurried confidence. The back panel packs a dense grid of saturated campus stills.
Reona and Saori anchor a school story built around a social club, so the draw is big-bust design, high-color art and the DISCIPLINE house style rather than the plot. The samples show the linework best.
