Story
Based on the original work by lust-meister "Alp," the explosively erotic Japanese-style occult tale "Yamitsuki Village" from the popular tankōbon "Melty Limit" is finally made into an OVA! In that village, a strange rumor had spread that "men must not visit it alone." The scholar Monbe, who majors in folklore, visits the village to uncover the truth, but is met with wariness. Just then, he is helped by the village girl Shizu and given a place to stay for the night, but... The night crawling of a carnivorous, huge-breasted village girl, the shrine maiden's "purification"—what is the true nature of the lewd mystery? *No bonus footage is included.
Our take
A Japanese folk-horror fantasy, Yamitsuki Mura arrives as its first volume, adapted from Alp's work in the manga Melty Limit and billed as a wafuu denkitan of succubus lore.
Night rules the palette: lantern orange, light through shoji paper, deep indigo and violet, with skin the brightest surface in frame. Tatami, futon and wooden interiors are drawn in with care.
Ouka, brown ponytail and warm smile, plays against Renge, the violet-haired shrine maiden. If Japanese-style color design and character contrast interest you, check the samples.
