Story

Our take

Body writing is the entire pitch of this Showten OVA, and the back cover states it outright: the scribbled-on body now moves. Taking a still-image gimmick into animation is the point.

The jacket is bright white and pink, with an ornate gilded headboard behind. A brown twin-tailed girl and a long black-haired girl lean together, black marker text and tally marks running across their skin. Lines are thin and clean, blush and wet-looking eyes are heavily rendered, and the saturated palette keeps the mood light.

It adapts a PC game by onomatope*raspberry and covers the first half. Check the samples for how the drawn-on look holds up in motion.
