Story
"Asuka," an AAA-rank student at the top of both academics and athletics at a young ladies' school and captain of the track and field club, is the coach's "cum-dump." Our take
The training ground of a track and field club is the setting for this first of two volumes from Showten, with the original work credited to Studio Fuan. An open outdoor venue makes it stand out in a genre that usually stays indoors.
The art is glossy digital painting, sweat and sunlight rendered as broad specular highlights. A red track, open sky and white and purple team kit give a saturated palette that reads as heat. Blonde and chestnut hair are set against each other, and spike shoes are drawn down to the laces.
A transfer student joins the club, and the story carries into volume two. Check the samples for how outdoor light is painted.
