Story
The captive Botan and Yarin, still bound, continue to be tormented. Late at night, in the mansion's underground dungeon. Bound, Botan and Yarin secretly plot a reversal scheme. The merchant who controls the half-demon men should possess the 'Onikoshiyume,' a drug that controls demon energy. Botan and Yarin slip out of the dungeon and sneak into the room where the Onikoshiyume is hidden. Just as they finally get their hands on the drug, the half-demon men appear once more. The merchant had seen through everything and laid a trap.
Our take
Kunoichi Botan Sono Ni is a Japanese-style dark fantasy about female ninja, with Enokibu credited as original creator and Sawayama Michiichiro as animation director. A mansion and the cell beneath it form the entire stage for Botan and Yarin.
Black hair and blue eyes anchor the design, the palette leans on purple and black night tones, and sash patterns and hair ornaments are drawn in properly. Torchlight throws orange across stone walls and plank floors, with the tanned half-oni kept to the back of the frame.
As the second chapter it marks the turn where the pair start to plan. Check the samples for the linework and color design.
