Our take
A schoolgirl piece that puts everything into the texture of a rain-soaked uniform. It is the first animated volume drawn from a doujin work by the circle Nemunoya, and the cover sets the tone: a bus stop at night, a white blouse clinging to skin, a red ribbon, a black pleated skirt.
The linework is thick, with real attention to translucency in wet fabric and to highlights on individual droplets. Long black hair splits into fine strands so you can read where it is soaked, and the backgrounds sink into blue and navy.
