Our take
Ahegao runs through all three shorts in this Queen Bee omnibus, adapted from Taropun's manga Waisetsu Missile. An after-school piece, a haunting by a lust spirit, and a memory-loss story sit side by side.
The front panel leans on one accent: red-ribboned twintails and violet eyes, lifted off black by a white blouse and navy uniform. The back reproduces manga panels as a grid, including cuts where violet tentacle-like shadows coil in. In-motion is credited.
Numbered as the first in the series, the short format works as an entry point for finding an art style you like. Studio MAiami is credited. The samples show how movement is handled.
