Story
'H-Hiro-kun... is this... a naughty DVD?' Latifa, who had been researching otaku culture in Hiro's room, was staring hard... but her interest is piqued by a package she happened to find, and she ends up playing an eroge together with Hiro. Though shocked by its content, she calmly plays it through to the end, subjecting Hiro to the embarrassing ordeal of watching. 'H-Hiro-kun too... you want to do... this sort of thing... don't you...?' Stealing glances, her cheeks flushed, the normally timid and poor-at-talking girl makes her bold confession. 'I-I want to try it too... so, why don't the two of us go all the way...?' A first time with this shy, socially awkward girl... Hiro had been leading the nervous, fidgety girl, but... 'Hehe, you're still full of energy. Hey, shall we do it one more time?' Beneath Hiro's arm, as if she had breezed right past her first time in the blink of an eye... the once-fidgety girl now begs lewdly for more...
Our take
This is the Latifa episode of Princess Love Life, and the hook is the reversal of a timid royal who discovers otaku culture and decides to take the first step herself.
Compared with the Ruria episode the palette is inverted. Crimson drapes, roses and hanging chains fill the background, while the princess has long pink hair, amber eyes, a corset and black over-knee socks. Blue floral bedding sits opposite the red as a complement, and the lighting is dropped to a night register.
Since the series runs one heroine per volume, the pleasure lies in comparing how each princess is drawn. Check the samples.
