Story
The protagonist Ryut is a rookie knight who has just graduated from the 'Royal Knight Academy,' an elite school that trains knights. His grades while enrolled were dead last and his peers make fun of him, but he himself doesn't care. Having had poor grades, Ryut is assigned—practically demoted—right after graduation to Boan, the poorest land in the country. There, he encounters rumors that 'a surviving demon is up to no good' and eerie incidents...
Our take
Kyonyuu Fantasy runs on classic sword-and-sorcery ground. Ryuuto finishes bottom of his class at the royal knight academy and gets posted to the poorest territory in the kingdom, where rumors of surviving demons keep circling.
PoROre paints at high saturation, with hard borders between highlight and shadow. Blonde, pink twin tails and lilac hair keep the heroines separate, faces built on wide eyes and small mouths, and dark shapes coil through the cave scenes.
Two names share the title, so the cast splits its focus between them. The samples show which one the camera keeps returning to.
