Maki Sanjo is drawn with long magenta hair, large eyes and pink striped lingerie, while the night interiors are sunk in blue-violet light so that only skin and fabric stay bright. Upward glances, sweat highlights and small shifts of expression carry more than the staging does, and one sample introduces a second heroine in a white blouse.
