Window-Watching Love ~From the Pure-Love Mellow~

Two rectangular frames drive this one: a webcam window and the real window across the way. Adapted from a Jun story collected in Junai Mellow, it moves a relationship that existed only on a screen into physical distance.

Color contrast does the work. The blonde lead with amber eyes and a red mandarin-collar dress sits in warm tones while pale blue monitor light hits her straight on, so only the lit planes of skin turn cold inside the dark room. Floral wallpaper, desk speakers and a potted plant fill in a lived-in bedroom.
