Story
One day, Yuichi is transported to the elf world of "Alfheim," centered on a divine tree. The elves, on the brink of extinction, rejoiced at Yuichi's summoning. Into this hope-filled elf village, a "Dark Elf" army suddenly attacks. The dark elves, also on the brink of extinction like the elves, tell Yuichi, "Come here alone tonight... or else... we'll destroy the village." What the elves, racking their brains over how to negotiate with the dark elves, hand Yuichi is a flower-made "aphrodisiac." Yuichi confronts the dark elf warrior Elda, the general Delva, and the strategist Mizly. Will Yuichi be able to return to the elf village...!? *No bonus footage is included.
Our take
Elf fantasy drives this second entry in the Sukebe Elf no Mori series, an OVA credited on the package to Lune Soft's adventure game and produced by Bunny Walker. A dark elf army marches on the village and sets the plot moving.
A dark elf holds the cover center: brown skin, gold eyes, long violet hair, blue and gold armor tracing her frame. The pale blonde elves around her make the skin contrast obvious. Highlights are hard-edged and rim light wraps the outlines, the mark of recent digital coloring.
Elda, Delva and Mizuri each take a turn, so character design differences stay easy to follow. The samples show the armor and night palette.
