Story
[Harem Cult 3: punish your crime] Ringo Mashiro, a guidance counselor who claims to be a collaborator and informant for the "Punishers" who oppose the "Student Council Federation" that runs Kabarin Private Academy. Mashiro invites Tatsumi—chosen as another of Hatorishima's collaborators—to an adults' lesson. In the school counseling room, teacher and student mingle without shame or reserve. [Harem Cult 4: If Words Could Kill People, Hotori Chapter] Hatorishima and Tatsumi are captured in the ruins. When Hotori, the mastermind and leader of the school's delinquent group, questions his true intent in defying the student council, Hatorishima calmly answers, "Because I don't like them." Hotori proposes a one-on-one match to decide who's on top. The condition was that laying a hand on Tatsumi means an automatic loss, but eventually it changes to whoever submits loses.
Our take
Harem Cult 2 side HAREM adapts Uba Yoshiyuki's original work, and the cover carries the line that everyone in this world wears a second face. It is a harem hentai anime framed by factional politics inside a school, student council against its challengers.
Two designs lead: a violet-haired faculty adviser with green eyes, and a red-haired student in a ponytail. Olive jackets and white classroom walls push the palette green, so hair color alone carries the accent. Lines are thick and eye shadow is heavy, which keeps even smiles ambiguous.
