Yukina Shiraha had long held feelings for her childhood friend Ginta Akashi. Yukina, who belongs to the swim club, began fondling her crotch in the girls' locker room after everyone had gone home, while sniffing the smell of Ginta's sweat-soaked gym clothes. There, the swim club advisor who suddenly entered sees her in that shameful state. Our take

Queen Bee's first volume adapting the Yuzuki N' manga Zutto Suki Datta. The cover places Yukina on purple bedding, short black hair, open white shirt and plaid skirt, with wide, glassy eyes taking the center.

The art is modern Queen Bee: fine lines, smooth skin gradients, careful beads of sweat and light held in the tears. Changing rooms and poolside are kept in cool blues and whites, so rising color in the cheeks reads as the emotional clock.

The volume sets two poles, a childhood friend and the swim club's supervising teacher, and hands the rest to later entries. Watch the samples to see how much of the manga's line survives in motion.
