Our take

Pisuhame 6 closes Queen Bee's schoolgirl series, billed on the cover as the final chapter built around a last kendo duel between Kinome and Tamao. The manga is credited on the package to Shiwasu no Okina.

Kinome fronts the sleeve in hakama with a bamboo sword, long indigo hair against a white top. Most scenes sit in a wooden dojo of amber floorboards and paper screens, light slanting in. Faces carry the detail, from flushed cheeks to unsteady glances.
