Story
"Yocchan... why..." Kyoko, a cute mom whose husband is away on a business trip, was aghast at Yoshiya sitting right before her. It was a date with an activity partner she'd been asked to meet by her mom-friend Momoka. Yielding to Momoka's pleas of "just tea, just the two of us," she had reluctantly headed to the meeting spot, an observation-deck cafe. Feeling unbearably awkward at the sight of Yoshiya, she waited for the time to pass. As expected, Momoka got up to head to a room with the boy she was after, and Kyoko and Yoshiya, left behind, got into the elevator to go home in an awkward state, but... Partway down, Yoshiya practically drags Kyoko out onto one of the floors. Pulling her straight into a room, he thrusts his hard, rigidly standing manhood before the stunned Kyoko's eyes...
Our take
Mama Katsu is billed on its own cover as an original animation, a married-woman OVA that stays inside domestic space, a kitchen, an elevator, a bedroom, with Kyouko as its anchor.
The cover is the strongest drawing on the disc: a long violet-haired woman at the sink, seen low, dish suds and a kitchen knife still in hand, a mint green shirt the one cool note against pink-leaning skin, finished in wide digital gradients.
The samples reveal a wider cast than the cover suggests, a woman in red-framed glasses, a blonde, another with pale blue hair, as the setting turns to white bedding. Check how the palette shifts from kitchen to bedroom.
