Story
The close-knit sisters Yoru and Asahi run a coffee shop. Together with their helper Shiro and part-timer Kohei, the four of them lived a calm and peaceful everyday life. But that was only a facade. During the nights when everyone else was fast asleep, the sisters had another job. "Tonight, I want you to sleep with me." Their nighttime work was hunting down the dream demons that possess people. Their name: Night Tale! But the girls are maidens of a certain age too. Within their own dreams, they end up doing slightly naughty things too! Licking some stranger old man's thing, having their first experiences...?! Such embarrassing dreams—no one knows, no one can be allowed to know! You want to know what the "night" work involves? It's obvious—beautiful girls who transform into sexy, cute costumes, hunting dream demons in dreams as slightly naughty work!!
Our take
Costumed transformation hentai anime. Two women run a coffee shop by day and hunt dream demons under the name Night Tail once the town is asleep, and the package labels the release an original animation disc. The first episode is where both halves of that double life get established.
The jacket is bathed in orange, with red brick walls and lamplight filling the frame, so the black cape, black gloves and red ribbon read as sharp silhouettes against it. The sample stills drop the color temperature: silver hair and pale violet eyes take over and the interiors turn cool and blue.
The dream framing lets the episode cut between the shop and imagined spaces without a break in logic. Succubus-flavored world-building, the costume design and the range of expressions are the draw here, so look through the samples.
