Story

Our take
Chapter two of the Sotsugyo train series puts a female teacher at the center and builds nearly every shot from behind, using a packed commuter car as a closed room where only glances travel.
Her design stays muted: chestnut hair loosely tied, thin-rimmed glasses, a black knit top, a tight skirt and dark stockings. Skin tones are clean and bright, and the flush that spreads from cheek to ear is finely graded, with the eyes readable through the lenses.
Samples alternate a dim violet car interior with brighter indoor cuts, so time reads through color. Compare the expression frames of the two lookalike women.
