Story

Kaito Kusakari left the countryside behind, his heart set on the dream: "I'll become a BIG man!" To earn his living for the time being, he ends up working at the resort facility "A・LO・HA." There, by coincidence, he simultaneously reunites with several women, each carrying baggage from the past: his first love "Nagi Saotome," his childhood friend "Hanabi Hyuga," the girl who rejected him "Aoi Matsuri," and, to top it all, "Rika Himuro," the partner of his first time. Rika reflexively slaps Kaito down. Long ago, Kaito had suddenly vanished from Rika's side. The first day of reuniting with these women from his past is a disaster. Buffeted by these delicate relationships, Kaito nonetheless works through his daily tasks. Then one day, Hanabi, curious about Kaito and Rika's closeness, wants to hear about their past. As Kaito desperately dodges the question, Rika hints that they'd been an item. Just as things look hopeless for Kaito, his little sister "Natane Kusakari" suddenly appears, and the pursuit of the topic ends muddled and inconclusive. On the way home, Kaito happens upon a fire at Rika's apartment. Rika stands frozen before the apartment engulfed in a sea of flames. The next moment, she tries to plunge into the inferno. Shaking off Kaito's hand as he tries to stop her, Rika rushes into the blazing apartment. Steeling himself, Kaito follows. There, Rika has collapsed from lack of oxygen. Kaito frantically pulls her up and revives her. In Rika's hand is a photo — of a startled-looking Kaito and a beaming Rika. Realizing Rika's single-minded feelings, Kaito shakes off the mistakes of the past and comes to understand his own honest heart.
