Another entry in the Shin Hitou Meguri line, titled after the maemigoro, the front panel of a kimono, with the young landlady of an aging ryokan at the center.
The art carries itself on interior color: amber corridors, the dull sheen of sliding paper doors, a purple kimono under a grey haori, and a white collar as the only bright note. The lead is drawn with dark cropped hair and blue-green eyes, calmer than most designs in the series, and the acting sits in lowered eyes and the smallest movement at the mouth.
As with its companions, the inn itself keeps the story in one place. The samples show the pacing and the kimono work.
