Story
Valkyrie endures the violation with no telling when it will ever end. Nearby, Skuld is being tormented by the traitor Freya. No matter what, I must at least save Skuld... While enduring the ravishment, Valkyrie realizes her true feelings. "...I see, the one I wanted to protect was... Skuld..." But upon learning that Skuld, whom she doted on like a little sister, had already been made a captive of lust by Duke and the others, Valkyrie lost that one and only support of hers... From Valkyrie, who has learned the meaninglessness of enduring, lewd words overflow... "I want it, Lord Duke's thick one, put it inside me..." The heavens are already conquered by the Demon King's army. The great god Odin and the others are made captives of the flesh by the battle-maidens, and it turns into a paradise lost where a lewd banquet unfolds...
Our take
Ikusa Otome Valkyrie Shinshou continues a long-running Norse fantasy hentai anime line, and episode two opens after the balance between the heavens and the demon army has already tipped.
It holds onto the cel era: high saturation, heavy outlines, flat shading. Hair colour sorts the crowded frames, gold, blue, pink and red one per character, while backgrounds switch from a pillared temple hall to a green open field to ranks of black armour in near darkness.
Sitting mid-way through a serialised story, it reads better if you follow the run in order. Use the samples to work out which stage of the war the cover image comes from.
