Our take
A schoolgirl piece that trades the classroom uniform for a family restaurant one, issued by PoROre as the first of two volumes.
The costume is the whole design idea: a white frilled headband and a trimmed collar are held in frame from the opening cut onward. Art runs warm, magenta hair and violet eyes against wood shelving and blue curtains, with thin linework and broad blush across the cheeks. Bright daytime interiors alternate with rooms where the light has been pulled down.
Being the upper volume, it carries the first half of a two-part structure. The samples are the quickest way to judge the uniform detail and the range of expression.
