Story
Around Claudia's neck is a servant's collar. Once a knight, she had her country destroyed by demons and was demoted to a servant. And this collar is no mere mark of a servant. It was a collar of enslavement, one whose wearer cannot disobey the owner's commands. Claudia, not permitted to defy the demons who destroyed her country. Watching Claudia commit atrocities as a puppet of the demons, Hein says that by using a certain method, she can be freed from the collar of enslavement.
Our take
Episode 4 of Venus Blood BRAVE centers a blonde knight in plate armor. A long braid, green eyes, silver steel and a violet gemstone collar make the equipment itself the design statement.
The paint keeps the series gloss, giving metal highlights and wet tentacle reflections equal weight. Crimson and lavender tentacles read against a dark red and violet ground that leaves only the silver and the gold lit.
