Story
Ogami Island, a peaceful, green-rich island floating in the Seto Inland Sea. It has now become a land filled with lust and madness. UNKNOWN-LEVEL4 — an infection disaster thought to have been contained has broken out again on this land. The town is roamed by countless infected, and everywhere the infected stage acts of ravishment. Trying to escape this chaos, Makoto, Satsuki, Akari, and Tarja were making their way through the forest on the town's outskirts. But the infection spread faster than expected, and even the seemingly deserted forest was roamed by the infected. And the pheromones given off by young girls served to tell the infected the location of the finest prey.
Our take
Kansen 5 - The Daybreak, Route A, is survival horror shaped as hentai anime: a virus, an island in the Seto Inland Sea, and a cover line about reason being devoured.
Night is built from deep navy and blue-green, with hard reflections on van panels and a coarse concrete texture. School swimsuits and sailor tops keep clean color blocks, while the infected are designed apart with sunken eye sockets and gray skin, so each frame holds human and non-human surfaces at once.
The series splits into routes and this disc follows one of them. Production is by Mary Jane. Check the sample footage to see how far the horror styling carries.
