Story
The protagonist moves to snow country to help clear snow at his grandparents' house. There he meets a special girl. Her name is Sayuki Takayashiro, the protagonist's classmate. Because of her earnest, graceful personality and being the daughter of a renowned shrine, everyone around her called her the "Shrine Maiden Princess" and gave her special treatment. She was troubled that this made it impossible for her to talk normally with others. Amid all that, the protagonist alone kept treating her as an ordinary girl, "Sayuki." Sayuki grew drawn to such a protagonist. And for the protagonist, who had approached Sayuki as an ordinary classmate, she too had become a special existence in a different sense.
Our take
A vanilla romance hentai anime set in snow country, built around a shrine. Mary Jane adapts the Amakano visual novel by Azarashi Soft, narrowing it to one heroine: Takayashiro Sayuki, whom everyone calls the shrine princess.
The miko outfit, white over crimson, is the anchor. The cover scatters snowflakes across a pink gradient behind her long indigo hair. Direction and character design by Shishineko Tenma show in the graded blush and eye acting that shifts from downcast to an upward glance.
Interiors stay warm down to the tatami weave, and the cover promises quiet time with someone you love. The winter palette shows in the sample stills.
